Amorphous silica fume · Super-pozzolan

Micro-silica, engineered for durable concrete.

An ultra-fine, amorphous form of silica — over 90% SiO₂ and finer than 25 microns — that works both physically and chemically to make concrete denser, stronger and longer-lasting.

01  What it is

Micro-silica, also known as silica fume.

Each particle is roughly 100 times finer than a grain of cement. That extreme fineness, combined with a high amorphous silica content, lets Silpozz work two ways at once: physically packing the spaces cement cannot reach, and chemically reacting within the mix to build extra strength.

The outcome is concrete with a refined pore structure, dramatically lower permeability, and the durability that heavy infrastructure demands.

02  How it works

Three actions, one stronger structure.

Silpozz improves concrete through a sequence of physical and chemical effects as the mix cures.

Step 01

Fill

Sub-25-micron particles slot into the microscopic voids between cement particles — the gaps that would otherwise become capillary channels for water and chemicals.

Step 02

React

The amorphous silica reacts with free calcium hydroxide left from cement hydration, converting a weak by-product into strong calcium-silicate-hydrate binding gel.

Step 03

Densify

The combined effect is a tighter, lower-porosity matrix — higher compressive strength, far lower permeability, and a structure sealed against corrosive ingress.

03  In the mix

The smallest ingredient, the biggest difference.

Admixtures make up under 1% of a concrete mix by volume — yet they govern its durability. Silpozz is the admixture that decides how long a structure lasts.

05  Applications

Where Silpozz performs.

Wherever concrete faces extreme load, aggressive chemistry, or corrosive water, a denser matrix performs harder and lasts longer.
